Remembering Angus by Paul Gregory, Chapel Orderly/Inmate HMP Bullingdon, 13th September 2001

Dear Bruce,

Over the last week and a half I have written you about four or five different letters trying to extend my gratitude and explain how much the LSW Prison Project has helped me and given me the confidence to follow my dream to become an actor, but the words that I wrote never seemed to explain my true feelings so I did not send them.

Then, on the afternon of Thursday, 13th September, I received the fax from you offering me sponsorship from The Angus Pope Arts Fund. I must say that I was touched by your extremely kind words about my work which I cannot accept any credit for because if it wasn't for yourself and your most wonderful group of fine actors and actresses, I would not have ever been given the opportunity to get this magnificent offer of Sponsorship from The Angus Pope Arts Fund, which I accept with great honour and pride.

I cannot adequately put into words what the Award and the LSW Project has done for me, but your kindess has truly astounded me. I thank you and everyone else who is involved with this most wonderful organisation from the bottom of my heart.

Thank you for everything. You are such stuff as dreams are made on.
