Dear Bruce,

It was a wonderful afternoon last Tuesday that we spent with actors from your organisation, and I would like to thank you for taking the time and trouble to put on such a fabulous workshop.  All of us thoroughly enjoyed it and we were left feeling enlivened and exhilarated.

It has certainly renewed my appreciation of Shakespeare and I have been tempted back into reading some of the classics I enjoyed at school and university.

The workshop was both entertaining and informative which left us wanting more.  I hope you will be able to come back shortly for more intensive workshops.  The afternoon provided a great balance of drama, poetry, comedy and suspense - all one could expect from Shakespeare.

I spoke with a number of actors from your group concerning my playwriting and, as a result, I have enclosed one of my plays which you may like to have a look at, give me some advice and, perhaps, help with a performance.  I hope you enjoy reading it.

I look forward to seeing you and hearing from you in the near future.

Yours sincerely,

Clare Barstow
